Liquid Cultures
Liquid Cultures
Becoming more popular than ever before, Liquid Cultures are now being commonly used in the United States, allowing people to develop mycelium growth, which is a network of fungal threads and hyphae. Ultimately, the end goal is for the fruiting bodies of fungi to develop as thriving mushrooms.
What are Liquid Cultures? Liquid Cultures is a mixture that has been sterilized and contains water and multiple kinds of sugars. The mixture is inoculated using mycelium or fungus spores. After it has colonized, the liquid culture would then be used to inoculate the Grain Spawn mix. Ultimately, the purpose of the liquid culture mixture is to generate mycelium growth. It will allow you to create thriving mushrooms to be used medicinally and as edibles.
