This first piece of news affects people from Tennessee, as a bill filed in February that was looking to ban Delta-8 products has now been amended to rather regulate the industry instead of getting rid of it entirely. With this bill now amended, there will be new rules, including prohibiting the sale of Delta-8 to anyone under the age of 21 years old, adding a 5% sales tax to any Delta-8 products, and requiring distributors and manufacturers to be licensed, along with changes to packaging and labeling on Delta-8 products. These new rules will also be applied to Delta-10 and THC-O, on top of other cannabinoids.

Hemp products became legal thanks to the 2018 Farm Bill that ultimately created a distinction between Hemp and Marijuana.
